Our Story

Erik and Holly

Erik’s Testimony

Having been consistently taught the Word of God at home, I realized my need for salvation at the age of five, and with child-like faith accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. The Lord called me into full-time service after I went on a mission’s trip with my church to India in 2001.  I was able to see firsthand the great needs of the world around me.  For the first time I was confronted with the reality that billions of people were living and dying without once hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ.   I then dedicated my life to Christ and began my Bible training.  Four years later I graduated from Virginia Baptist College with a Bachelor’s degree in Theology.

Holly’s Testimony

I made a profession of faith at a young age and thought I was saved.  However, as a freshman at a Christian college I felt the Holy Spirit’s prodding that I had never truly been saved.  That day, November 3, 1994, I confessed my sins and accepted God’s gift of salvation.    I felt the Lord’s calling into missions after watching a video on Bible translators.  I understood for the first time how many people have yet to hear the gospel in their own language, and instantly my heart became burdened for those who had never been given the chance to hear.  Later, during a mission’s conference, I surrendered my life completely to foreign missions, knowing that was God’s plan for me.

Our Ministry Goals:

  • Personal evangelism
  • Church planting
  • One-on-one discipleship

The Lord has called my wife and me to the Dominican Republic to serve Him as church planters.   We look forward to starting indigenous, self-supporting churches that will teach the Dominican people how to reach their own country and the world for Christ.
